Helloooo everyone! So here is our first blog. Let's see... what should I talk about. I will start off by filling you all in on the beauty of a Bed and Breakfast... Every morning Brandon and I go downstairs at about 7:15 AM and get a nice, big, and most importantly free beautiful meal. There's a whole menu to choose from and let me tell you, it is quality food we're talking about here! I am thoroughly enjoying this new experience. After breakfast Brandon heads off to work and I walk back upstairs and go back to sleep for a couple more hours, haha. I know I know, I'm pathetic. :) Hey, a girl's got to get her beauty sleep.

Brandon works anywhere from 9 to 10 hours a day... and I find random things to entertain myself with such as writing a million emails, showering, making the bed, and other non-important things like that. My hubby gets home around 7 PM. I am always very grateful for his company seeing as how I am alone for 10 hours of the day! Hint: Does anyone want to come out and visit? You'll have a free place to stay! Please do get back to me on this one.

Today I went into town to go shopping and to buy the new Weezer CD that Brandon's been dying to have. It's crazy people... England is just like America practically. I mean sure they talk funny and say some odd words but they have McDonalds, Gap, Subway, Pizza Hut, and Burger King. That's like America summed up in 7 words! AND they have not T.J. Maxx but T.X. Maxx.... yeah, it's exactly the same. Not to mention every store I went into was playing some American pop song that I recognized. And in the music store they were selling stuff like Eminem, Simon and Garfunkel, Saves the Day, Weezer, just basically all the same things as in the states.

Warning: If you say this sentence in England they will give you a blank stare. They won't have a clue what you're talking about... "Umm, what is __________ like?" For example, I was asking what a certain candy was like. Yeah, bit of a communication gap there. I was like, "Uhhh, what is it comparable to? What is it similar to? You know, what is it like? Describe the candy to me!!!" The lady finally left the counter and came back with a sample for me. After all that, I didn't want it. It looked gross. Just a little helpful tip for all of you who will be coming out here to visit. :)

Anyways, I think that's enough for today. Tonight is movie and Mexican food night with the co-workers + me. That should be fun. And then this weekend... who knows what that will hold. Some crazy adventure I'm sure. Until then as the English would say... cheers!
